Tom
Campbell is an internationally recognized wildlife photographer
based in Santa Barbara, California. His photography and articles
have appeared in numerous magazines and books worldwide. Much of
his focus has been on endangered species. Tom's posters, notecards,
and photographs have contributed greatly in creating public awareness
and financial support for imperiled species, such as the West Indies
Manatee.
Tom was honored
as the recipient of the prestigious Diawa Award for excellence in
environmental photojournalism, and placed first in International
Wildlife's Photo Contest. Tom's mission with his photography is
to encourage awareness, understanding, and protection for wildlife
and the Earth's delicate ecosystem. He believes that those who have
marveled at nature's beauty are most inclined to protect it.
